Operations Manual

The Digital Deco Moderne packs a full-featured digital module into a 1970s Art Deco–inspired case. Here's everything it does:

• Display: 13-digit LCD showing hours, minutes, seconds, year, month, day, and day-of-week. Switchable between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
• World Time: 31 time zones covering 48 cities with independent DST (Daylight Saving Time) control.
• Alarms: 5 independent alarms plus an hourly chime signal.
• Countdown Timer: Set any duration and count down to zero with an audible alert.
• Stopwatch: Elapsed time, split time, and two-finisher measurement up to 23 h 59 m 59.99 s.
• EL Backlight: Press D to illuminate the display for 3 seconds. Adjustable duration in settings.
• Key Tone: Audible button feedback — can be muted.
• DST: Daylight Saving Time can be toggled on or off per time zone.

Four buttons control every function. Learn these and you own the watch.

Four Time Zones (T1 – T4)

The Moderne displays up to 4 saved time zones. Press C in the timekeeping screen to cycle through T1, T2, T3, and T4.

Setting T1 (Home Time)

1. 1.On the T1 screen, hold A for 2 seconds. "Seconds" will flash.
2. 2.Press C to reset seconds to zero.
3. 3.Press B to move to the next field. The full sequence is:

• • Press C or D to adjust the flashing value. Hold to scroll quickly.
• • Press A at any time to confirm and exit setting mode.

Setting T2 / T3 / T4

1. 1.Navigate to T2, T3, or T4 with C.
2. 2.Hold A for 2 seconds. "City" will flash.
3. 3.Press C / D to choose a city. The time adjusts automatically based on UTC offset.
4. 4.Press B to switch to DST setting; press C to toggle DST on/off.
5. 5.Press A to save and exit.

In World Time mode the display shows a single city and its current time. Cycle through all 48 cities or toggle DST.

Controls

• Change city: Short-press C to step forward. Hold C to scroll quickly.
• Toggle DST: Hold A for 2 seconds to turn DST on or off for the displayed city.

Set up to 5 independent alarms plus an hourly chime. Each alarm can be set to fire once or repeat daily.

Navigating Alarms

• Cycle alarms: Press C to step through Alarm 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → Hourly Signal (00).
• Toggle on/off: Press A to turn the displayed alarm (or hourly chime) on or off.

Alarm States

When a one-time alarm triggers, it automatically switches itself off. Daily alarms repeat every 24 hours until you turn them off. The alarm rings for 10 seconds — press any button to stop it early. The hourly chime plays two short beeps at the top of each hour.

Setting an Alarm

1. 1.Navigate to the alarm you want to set.
2. 2.Hold A for 2 seconds. "Hour" will flash.
3. 3.Press B to cycle through fields:

• • Use C / D to adjust. Hold to scroll quickly.
• • Press A to save and exit.

Using the Timer

• Start / Pause: Press C to start the countdown. Press C again to pause.
• Reset: While paused, press A to reset the timer to its original value.
• Alert: When the countdown reaches zero, the watch rings for 10 seconds. Press any button to stop.

Setting the Duration

1. 1.In Countdown mode, hold A for 2 seconds. "Hour" will flash.
2. 2.Press B to cycle through:

• • Use C / D to adjust. Hold to scroll quickly.
• • Press A to confirm and exit.

Maximum capacity: 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds. The stopwatch resets to zero after reaching maximum.

Basic Operation

• Start / Pause: Press C to start. Press C again to pause.
• Reset: While paused, press A to reset to 0:00:00.00.
